After fighting for her life for four days, a 22-year-old student in Vigan City succumbed to the injuries she sustained after she figured in an accident in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
The student, Che Zhen Kate Martinez, was riding her motorcycle when she hit a dog in Barangay Tamag.
The dog died on the spot, but its owner has yet to come forward.
Her mother, Erlinda, appealed to the owner:
“Nakikiusap kami na tumulong ‘yung may-ari ng aso. Makonsensya sana sila sa nangyari sa anak ko,” she said.
The police are also identifying the dog’s owner.
“Yun yung main concern natin, ‘yung ma-pinpoint yung ownership ng aso,” PLT. Amado Somera, Jr., Intelligence Investigation Officer of the Vigan City Police Station, said.
