A former policeman is facing drug charges after he was arrested with suspected shabu worth more than P1 million in Davao City on May 23, 2024.
The 60-year-old suspect identified as alias “Erp” was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Los Amigos, Tugbok District.
Police said the operation was launched after a drug suspect who was arrested earlier revealed that his source of illegal drugs was alias “Erp.”
The suspect formerly served in the PNP but was booted out from the police service.
Authorities added that the suspect denied his involvement in illegal drug trade and claimed that he only stole the seized items.
The suspect is now detained.
