Authorities arrested two alleged members of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) for allegedly selling guns illegally in Cotabato City.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (CIDG-BAR) arrested the suspects identified as alias “Buds” and alias “Boy” in a buy-bust operation.
Recovered from the suspects’ car were a caliber .9mm firearm and two magazines.
The two are now detained at the detention facility of CIDG-BAR and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition (RA 10591).
