The Department of Social Welfare and Development Office-Davao (DSWD-11) has confirmed that it has received several complaints about the cash aid under the Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program or AKAP getting slashed.
According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, DSWD-11 Information Officer, Joseph Karl Fortuoza, said at least three people from Davao City have filed formal complaints that the cash assistance they received under AKAP has been cut to half.
DSWD-11 did not identify the barangays involved.
The agency has already opened an investigation into the complaints.
