A magnitude 4.3 quake jolted Guiuan town in the Province of Eastern Samar at 1:54 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
The quake was located 10.98°N, 125.61°E - 014 km S 65° W of Guiuan with a depth of 24 kilometers, and is tectonic in origin, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
"No damages, no aftershocks expected," PHIVOLCS' Earthquake Information No. 2 indicated.
