A 33-year-old mother in Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City was arrested in an entrapment operation based on reports that she has pimped out her biological children to online customers.

The suspect has taken photographs of the private parts of her two daughters.

She was arrested past 1 p.m. on February 13, 2025 through an operation conducted by personnel of the Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC), Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutor’s Office, Lapu-Lapu City Police, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The entrapment was done in a bakery where the mother works.

She was caught in the act of taking photographs of her 15-year-old daughter’s private parts.

The authorities have presented a cyber warrant against the suspect.

A surveillance was carried out in October 2024. She has been monitored to have pimped out her 13-year-old and 15-year-old daughters on cyberspace for P2,000 for each transaction.

As of this writing, the DSWD has taken custody of the victims, while their mother was taken to the WCPC office, according to Lt. Col. Christian Torres, spokesperson of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.

Charges for violation of Section 4A of Republic Act 11862 on anti-trafficking in persons will be filed against the suspect.
