Two men were killed in separate shooting incidents in Iligan City.
One of the victims was a 30-year-old man.
Police said the victim was buying water at a refilling station in Barangay Mahayahay when motorcycle-riding gunmen arrived and shot him.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound in the head.
Meanwhile, a man who allegedly tried to rob a store was shot dead by the owner.
Police said the owner was sleeping when he was awakened by their dog barking.
When he peeked outside, he saw two men entering their store, and one of them was reportedly armed.
The store owner pulled out his gun and fired at the suspects.
One of the suspects died on the spot while the other escaped.
Authorities recovered the alleged stolen money.
Police are investigating the two shooting incidents.
