More than 12,000 security personnel will secure the 2025 elections in the Davao region.
The send-off ceremony for police and military personnel and members of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) was held at the Parade Grounds of the Police Regional Office-Davao (PRO-11) in Davao City on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.

“Through dedication and professionalism the PNP and the personnel belonging to Multi-Agency Security Forces and Special Electoral Boards play a vital role in upholding the democratic process promoting a peaceful, orderly, and credible election,” PRO-11 Director, Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete, said.
Meanwhile, at least 500 personnel from PRO-11 and 41 members from the Maritime Unit have also been deployed to the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to serve as members of the special electoral board.
