Two suspected drug personalities were arrested during a buy-bust operation at a bus terminal in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur on Wednesday afternoon.
Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police officers launched the operation around 2 p.m. in Barangay VIII. Authorities identified the suspects as alias "Denden" from Cabugao and alias "Rica" from San Juan.
Over P47,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from the suspects.
PDEA confirmed that one of the suspects is listed as a regional target drug personality.
Both will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspects have yet to issue any statement.
