Nine foreigners and two Filipinos were intercepted at the Mactan Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City for carrying money worth a total of P441,992,000.
The money was supposed to be flown to Manila via charter flight on May 9, 2025.
The passengers have been investigated due to the huge amount of money that they were bringing.
