A 43-year-old man was shot dead while tending to his goats in Barangay Baganihan, Davao City.
According to the victim’s wife, her husband was able to shout that he had been shot in the back.
The victim attempted to run toward their home but collapsed due to his injuries.
One of the suspects reportedly chased the victim and continued firing, hitting him multiple times.
The suspects were reportedly wearing jackets and black pants.
Authorities recovered at least 23 empty shells of 5.56 caliber ammunition from the crime scene.
Police are eyeing land dispute as motive.
