As the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) ushers in Season 99 this September 24, the country’s first collegiate athletic league introduces a new lineup of courtside reporters, delivering the latest reports and happenings in and out of court.

From being known as the “Bubbly Girl” of the reality show “Running Man Philippines,” multi-talented Sparkle artist Lexi Gonzales is definitely ready to showcase her sportscasting skills. Viewers can look forward to Lexi, “Ang Celebrity Student Reporter ng Cavite City,” as she takes on this new challenge.  

Another Sparkle artist is also joining this year’s lineup of courtside reporters — “Ang Cutie Singer Reporter ng Alabang,” Hannah Arguelles. Hannah was part of the first-ever skating drama ‘Hearts on Ice’ and she is more than prepared to be working, this time, on the hardcourt. 

Joining this season’s roster of “beauty and brains” are new and familiar faces in the NCAA who are also dean’s listers in their respective schools.

NCAA is proud to introduce “Ang Pretty and Charming Student Reporter ng Caloocan City” Glycel Ann Galpo. She is a Communication Arts student at Colegio de San Juan de Letran. 

Another new face this season is Alyanna Ysabelle Faustino, “Ang Future Architect Reporter ng Pasig City.” Alyanna is taking up BS in Architecture Specialized in Sustainable Design at Mapua University. She is also a Sports Editor in her university.

Ready to create a name in NCAA this season is a BS International Hospitality Management student at De La Salle - College of St. Benilde and an events host. She is Liezl Anne Nierves, “Ang Events Host Student Reporter ng Sta. Rosa.” 

Adding to the list of new courtside reporters is Monique Angelika Santos, “Ang Bubbly and Pretty Student Reporter ng Quezon City.” A former PSL Courtside Reporter, she is a Student Jock on FM radio currently taking up BS in Applied Economics Major in Financial Economics. 

Get ready as well to meet Diana Marie Igual, “Ang Multi-passionate Student Reporter ng Malolos.” She is a BA Communication Arts student and a freelance commercial model. 

Meanwhile, Arlove De Jesus, “Ang Beauty Queen Reporter ng Valenzuela City,” is more than ready to use her charm in keeping everyone updated with the happenings in and out of court. Arlove, a TV and Print Ads model, was a former courtside correspondent and was the winner of Miss Polo Philippines 2019.

Some courtside reporters from the last season are also returning this NCAA Season 99. They are Kristine San Agustin, “Ang Brainy Chic Reporter ng Los Baños;” Julia Mae Ong, “Ang Pretty Entrepreneur Reporter ng Manila;” Fatima Faye Reyes, “Ang Nursing Student ng Pulilan;” and Stephanie Benito, “Ang Student DJ Reporter ng Lucena City.” 

Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated News, GMA Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, together with NCAA hosts Anton Roxas, Coach Hammer Antonio, and Martin Javier, officially welcomed via Zoom the courtside reporters for Season 99.

NCAA Season 99 officially opens this September 24, live at the Mall of Asia Arena with simulcast at 2:00 PM on GMA and GTV.
