The Perpetual Junior Altas will be seeing action for the first time in 40 years in the finals of the NCAA juniors basketball.
The Altas defeated the Mapua Red Robins, 96-91, in the #NCAASeason99 semifinals in juniors basketball on Sunday, March 10, 2024, with Jan Roluna stepping up big time for the team.
Roluna, a native of Nasipit, Agusan Del Sur, exploded with 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, defending champions Letran Squires are also back in the finals after downing San Sebastian Staglets, 91-77.
George Diamante’s double-double helped the Squires by scoring 13 points along with 12 rebounds and eight assists.
