Despite the scorching heat, three senior citizens - 67, 64, and 63 years old, respectively - showed strength and resilience by participating in a bike race in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte alongside younger participants.
The three reached the finish line successfully, covering a distance of over 40 kilometers.
Although they did not win, the three said they were happy to reach the finish line without injuries.
They said they used to join bike races during town fiestas.
The grandfathers said they do not have vices and are very fond of sports activities.
The bike race is part of the celebration in Barangay Sta. Asuncion.
