The NCAA Season 100 Volleyball Tournament officially kicked off its second round festivities with a momentous ceremony on Tuesday, April 22, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre, signalling the start of the games’ home stretch as teams jockey for position with the Final Four fast-approaching.

The parade of student-athletes from the ten member schools headlined the opening ceremony, led by Senior Vice President for GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Mr. Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, NCAA Season 100 Management Committee (ManComm) chair and Lyceum of the Philippines University ManComm representative Mr. Hercules Callanta, NCAA Volleyball Tournament Chair and Arellano University ManComm representative Mr. Peter Cayco, and the other esteemed members of the NCAA ManComm.

The event, hosted by Martin Javier, was also graced by Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Secretary-General Mr. Donaldo Caringal.

Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas also delivered an entertaining song performance. 

The festivities were immediately followed by a double-header: Letran beat San Beda (3-1) in the first game, while Benilde downed JRU (3-1) in the second.
