Not only did Letran win back to back, they also tainted the pristine record of Group A leader Perpetual in assertive fashion. 

Deo Cuajao and Jimboy Estrada shared the scoring load and combined for 39 points to lead the red-and-blue of Intramuros as Letran dealt Perpetual its first loss in Season 101, 63-56.

The win comes hot on the heels of Letran’s precious 84-80 edge over EAC last Saturday, making for a momentum-gaining pair of victories after a dismal three-game losing streak that started their season campaign. 

Best player of the game Deo Cuajao was red-hot in 27 minutes of play, tallying 16 points on 4-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, while Jimboy Estrada had an equally terrific performance by top-scoring for the Knights with 23 markers to go along with eight rebounds, three dimes, and three steals.

On the Perpetual side, the usual scoring duo of Patrick Sleat and Mark Gojo Cruz still led the offensive scheme of Coach Olsen Racela, collecting 16 and 10 points, respectively, in the losing effort.
