Filipina beauty vlogger Mae Layug explains why these five beauty products stand out among others, price included.

Beauty products are pricey specifically if you follow a skincare or makeup routine.

Mae Layug, a Filipina beauty vlogger explains what makes a product stand out among others.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Mae said that through numerous product testing from different brands she found a few gems from international and local brands that are worth splurging on.

Black Rouge Airfit Velvet (Php 720)

For fans of Korean makeup look, Mae suggests Black Rouge Airfit Velvet. She said, “The shade V6 is my HG (holy grail) lip velvet. It is a Korean brand and the pigmentation and formula are really great for that gradient lip look.”

Mae added that she loves the flexibility of the product. “You can also use this on your cheeks as blush. For a lip velvet, I find it expensive for the price of ₱720 but you'll really get what you paid for.”
