Dubbed as the wedding of the year, here are the little known details behind Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho's grand wedding in Paris, France.
In an Instagram post, Vicki Belo revealed that they chose the Paris opera house as the venue of their wedding so it will be worth their guests' long travel. In her own words, "If we were just in a hotel we might as well have been in Manila."
World-famous designer Michael Cinco accompanied Vicki Belo in her bridal car en route to the American Church in Paris. She also thanked him for calming her nerves before saying I do.
Hayden Kho calls these guests "overnighters" because they flew to Paris on September 2 and went back home September 3 just to show their love for the couple. First on the list is actor, Piolo Pascual.
Second overnighter is fashion blogger Bryanboy.
Third overnighter is actress Jodi Sta. Maria who lighted the couple's marriage candles.
Fourth overnighter is Pambansang Bae Alden Richards who went to the wedding to express his gratitude to Belo for supporting him at the beginning of his career.
Hayden Kho's best man is Philippine Tatler Editor-In-Chief, Anton San Diego.
French luxury caterer, Potel et Chabot, is responsible for the exquisite food served at the reception.
Javi Martinez Pardo of YAPARAZZI Events Design explains the use of the color gold in the luxurious table setting. He said, "We designed a beautiful golden table with gold mirror to reflect the “frescos” on the Greens Foyer's ceiling. All the gold details on table, plates and glasses were there to symbolize how close God is to the heart of the couple."
He also mentioned that 25 suppliers, 400 crew, and 28 artists were flown from all over the world to turn the dream wedding into a reality.
