Mavy and Cassy Legaspi

Mavy Legaspi and Cassy Legaspi know the best ways to spend quality time with your siblings at home. Read on to find out their recommended activities!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues its threat, a lot of things remain uncertain.

We have to accept that we still need to keep sheltering at home and that may mean getting stuck with your (sometimes annoying) sibling.

If you've been wondering how else you can spend your time together under quarantine, the Legaspi twins Mavy and Cassy have the best suggestions.

1. Help each other in personal tasks

You or your sibling may not be very vocal about asking for help but for Mavy and Cassy, the time under quarantine is the best time to lend your brother or sister a hand in personal tasks.

“They can also help them out in schoolwork,” Mavy suggests, as students are also adjusting to the new normal.

2. Do household chores together.

Bonding can be productive too and one way to do that is by doing chores together.

Mavy emphasizes, “There's nothing wrong with doing house chores with your siblings. I mean, help out your parents 'di ba, or your housemates, kumbaga.”

3. Exchange stories.

This sounds basic and boring, but this is definitely something worth trying while you practically don't have any choice but spend 24/7 with your siblings.

The young actor explains, “Get to know each other. Maybe you don't know much about what your sibling is going through. So maybe help each other out and talk about kunwari one of your siblings is anxious or having anxieties. Baka you can help each other by talking about it, talking about the pandemic, and you know inspiring each other to do better.”

4. Play games and do challenges.

From playing mobile games to joining trending social media challenges, Cassy reminds siblings to have fun despite the crisis.

“Challenges like on YouTube. That's really fun,” she recommends.

5. Watch a movie or TV series together.

Mavy and Cassy agree that you can create new experiences with your siblings by watching films and TV shows.

Cassy stresses, “Movie night. It's as simple as that. That's already bonding even though you're not taking. Just watch a movie or start a new show together.”

The Legaspi twins know that time under quarantine has its challenges but they also remind us that we can still have a good life when we spend it with our family around.
