Yesterday (May 2), Rocco Nacino posted a tearful Instagram post mourning the passing of his "Nanay."

 

One of the reasons I enjoyed performing was because we perform to make you happy every time we have our gatherings. Isa ka sa mga rason kung bakit ko naging hilig ang pagsayaw at pagkanta. Now I dedicate every performance I have, for you, the one who started this passion of mine. Every time I do a scene or get on stage, I'll always remember you. Thank you, Nanay. You've spread so much magic and happiness to the Quiogue clan. Mahal na mahal ka namin. Rest in Peace my dear Nanay. We celebrate your life, because we know, You Lived. ??

According to the Kapuso actor, his Nanay served as an inspiration for him to pursue performing.

Rocco's Nanay passed away at 93.
