iBilib host Chris Tiu and wife Clarisse Ong welcomed their second daughter, Mari Diana, to the Catholic Church. Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle baptized Baby Mari yesterday, April 15.

This weekend was truly special as we welcomed our 2nd daughter Mari Diana into the Catholic Church, more so, to have His Eminence Cardinal Tagle baptize her. He reminded us of the changing & challenging environment that our kids will be growing up in because of the digital revolution , but what must remain constant is our values. And that we parents and godparents have an important role in helping our young kids become good Christians through our guidance and example. (Not through big gifts or ampaos hehe) Thank you Lord for your unconditional love & your infinite mercy! And also the gift of family and faith. ?????? Great photos by @chyvreyes ????

Cardinal Tagle blessed the Tiu family and imparted words of wisdom for the couple, “He reminded us of the changing [and] challenging environment that our kids will be growing up in because of the digital revolution, but what must remain constant is our values.”

The Manila archbishop said that parents are very important instruments in raising children in this generation, “We, parents and godparents have an important role in helping our young kids become good Christians through our guidance and example. (Not through big gifts or ampaos hehe).”

Chris thanked the Lord Almighty as well as the people who took part in the very special occasion, “Thank you Lord for your unconditional love [and] your infinite mercy! And also the gift of family and faith.”
