LOOK: Kris Bernal launches lipstick line 'SHE'

Kris Bernal has finally revealed the project she has been working on for almost a year.

In a series of Instagram posts, the Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko star shared the story behind her newest venture, SHE Cosmetics.

She revealed that she got inspired by America's youngest billionaire, Kylie Jenner, to put up her dream of having a lipstick line.

She said, "It was exactly Feb. 28, 2018 when I decided that it's time to pursue this dream I've long wanted. I got so inspired by the youngest self-made billionaire, Kylie Jenner! Almost one year in the making - sleepless nights, countless breakdowns, and tons of hard work."

Kris admitted that she didn't get enough support and many questioned her ideas, but she still pushed through with her dream project without financers or partners.

"My love for lipstick led me to start @shecosmeticsph. Not all supported me and many questioned my ideas! The real issue was it's a huge investment, yet I still took the risk and told myself, "Go for it. YOU GOT THIS, GIRL," the actress/entrepreneur recounted.

It was trial and error before she came up with her desired shades and formula that can cater to every skin color. But what's more interesting is that her product is made in Korea. Everyone knows that Korean cosmetics are especially formulated to cater to Asian beauty.

"SHE is going to be a major game changer in the lipstick world because SHE IS MADE IN KOREA," Kris revealed.

When it comes to formula, SHE Cosmetics can compete with other top local brands. Beauty vlogger Raf Juane attested this by using the liquid lipstick as an eye shadow and a blush because of its cushion matte finish.
