David Licauco celebrates birthday, shares what the COVID-19 pandemic taught him
Kapuso model-actor David Licauco shared his thoughts about celebrating his 25th birthday amid the COVID-19 pandemic and living under the “new normal.”
On his Instagram post, the chinito heartthrob said that he knows that he is fortunate to be able to spend his special day with his family.
David said, “Never imagined spending a birthday in a time when nothing is really certain, I continue to feel fortunate and privileged to still celebrate this day with my family.
“But if there's anything that being in this state has taught me, it's about having a deeper understanding that there are things that are beyond our control, and there are so many things we enjoy everyday before but took for granted that look like luxuries now.”
Several celebrities greeted David on his birthday, including Shaira Diaz, Jeric Gonzales, and Teejay Marquez.
Before entering showbiz, David joined 2014 Mr. and Mrs. Chinatown where he placed first runner-up.
He has appeared in various Kapuso soaps, including Mulawin VS Ravena, Kapag Nahati Ang Puso, and TODA One I Love.
