The son of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., Sandro Marcos, made headlines after his post about the Star Wars movie Rogue One caused a Twitter frenzy.

Sandro tweeted last Sunday, December 18 that he enjoyed watching the new installment of the Star Wars franchise.

His tweet prompted many netizens to remind him that Rogue One is a story of a rebellion trying to overthrow an oppressive tyrannical empire similar to what happened in the 1986 EDSA revolution.

Former president Ferdinand Marcos, Sr.  was ousted in February 1986 after millions of people protested in EDSA, ending his 21-year dictatorship.
