Carla Abellana renews three-year contract with GMA Network

My Destiny star and one of the Kapuso network's most sought-after leading ladies, Carla Abellana, inked another three-year contract with GMA on Monday, March 23.

Present at the contract signing were Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., SVP for Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and Mr. Arnold Vegafria, Carla's manager.
"Very happy, kasi I don't see myself anywhere else. Ito 'yung home kumbaga, I belong here. Nakakatuwa seeing the same faces. Ito pa rin ang mga makakatrabaho ko in the next three years, so very, very happy," shares the actress.
Carla admits that she is excited to work again. Aside from her ongoing shows Ismol Family and Sunday All Stars, she has an upcoming soap and a News and Public Affairs program.
"Around this summer, mga mid-year, magsa-start na ako ng bago kong soap. Drama pa din 'yan, diyan ako nasanay eh. 'Yan din ang paborito ko. Tapos mayroon din akong isang show under News and Public Affairs na uumpisahan very soon."
Mr. Duavit is also very pleased with Carla's contract renewal, and has nothing but praises for the talented actress.
"Pagkakataon na rin siguro na pasalamatan natin si Carla sa kanyang tiwala at sa karangalang dinadala niya sa ating lahat. Isang bukod-tanging artista, very professional, very versatile, and definitely an actress who has the sky as the limit."
