Gabby Concepcion signs exclusive contract with GMA Network
Gabby Concepcion is now an official Kapuso as he signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network today, August 17.

Present at the contract signing were Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, SVP for Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and Gabby's manager Popoy Caritativo.
"I'm very, very grateful. I think it's going to be a good year. Malapit na ang birthday ko so it's a really good birthday gift. At least maipapakita ko pa [ang kaya kong gawin] at magkakaroon tayo ng exposure sa ating mga viewers right after 'yung Boss Yummy na madalas nilang tinatanong kung kailan masusundan," says Gabby, referring to his role in the primetime series Because of You.
The actor clarified that Because of You will not have a sequel, but he will soon be seen in various Kapuso shows.
"Mayroon kaming gagawing comedy. Wala pa 'yung mga drama-drama, pahinga muna tayo sa mga drama. Mabigat ang drama, masakit sa puso. Tumawa muna tayo at magsaya."
Atty. Gozon is also elated that Gabby chose to sign with GMA Network.
"Si Gabby matagal nang uma-appear sa ating mga shows, at nakita naman natin na maganda ang pagtanggap ng mga manonood natin. Maliban sa magaling na artista naman at saka guwapo pa, talagang asset si Gabby kahit saang TV station siya magpunta. Kaya tayo ay nagpapasalamat na napili na naman niya tayo."
Ms. Rasonable then shared the plans of the network for the actor.
"Nakita natin how he was so effective in Because of You, 'di ba? Leading man. Sabi nga ni FLG, walang kakupas-kupas. So we'll continue with that, but also he's doing something else. He's doing a comedy on primetime. Dapat abangan nila 'yun kasi another side of Gabby that they have not seen for a long time, makikita nila dito."
