MUST-READ: Kris Aquino, hindi nga ba welcome sa GMA?
Tinuldukan na ni GMA Senior Vice President (SVP) Lilybeth G. Rasonable ang usap-usapang hindi welcome si Kris Aquino sa Kapuso network.
“No. It is not true that she is not welcome,” mariin niyang pahayag.
“Sa totoo naman never did we talk about it, nor did we ever say na hindi siya welcome,” patuloy ni Rasonable.
Matatandaan naging bulong-bulungang hindi welcome si Kris sa GMA ng kumalat ang post ni Jake Tordesillas, isang Kapuso creative consultant, sa social media. Paliwanag ni Rasonable, hindi raw ito opisyal na pahayag mula ng network.
Pagbibigay-linaw niya, “It was a personal opinion except that [when] it was picked up, they attached a position to him. He knows that already, and I think dahil matagal na ‘yon, inamin naman niya na personal niyang opinyon ‘yun. Pero hindi naman siya nagsabi.. ‘Nagsasalita ako bilang creative consultant.’ Unang una sa drama naman siya creative consultant, hindi naman sa talk show.”
Napuna ng isang press member sa naganap na press conference ng GMA Entertainment TV Drama Group na wala pa rin ang programang pagbibidahan ni Kris sa listahan ng mga programang kanilang inanunsyo. Gayunpaman, hindi raw ito isang kumpirmasyong hindi na matutuloy sa Kapuso network ang tinaguriang Queen of All Media dahil station-produced shows lamang ang kanilang pinag-uusapan.
“Entertainment TV kasi does not take care of the blocktimers. But as far as I know, when you’re a blocktimer, you propose a concept. If it is approved then and there is a time slot, then [it’s] okay. So it’s not because you’re Kris Aquino, you cannot come in or anything. Whoever that blocktimer is who wants to propose a concept or a program will go through the same process that everybody goes through when proposing a project to GMA,” ani Rasonable.
Sa parehong panayam ay pinabulaanan din niyang may nangyaring negosasyon para itakda si Kris na pumalit sa talk show ni Marian Rivera.
Sambit niya, “No, definitely not. That’s not true at all. That’s so far-fetched. When the Marian's show ended ['Yan Ang Morning!], wala pa namang [talks with] Kris Aquino eh. Wala, nasa ABS pa siya. I mean if you will check your timing, she was still very much with ABS when the show ended.”
