Benj Mudie talks about girlfriend Rich Asuncion's beauty pageant days
Benj Mudie, a member of the Philippine Volcanoes, is very vocal about how he admires his girlfriend Rich Asuncion.

In an Instagram post, the Filipino-Australian rugby player talked about the Ika-6 Na Utos star's stint in Binibining Pilipinas 2009.
"Considering Miss Universe is just around the corner, I might as well post my Miss Universe back in her pageant days. She was Miss Bohol and went on to be 1st Runner-up in [Binibining] Pilipinas. This is while she's studying at the top university in the country and a full-time actress," Benj wrote in the caption.
He continues, "Not many people know this about her, but this girl used her beauty, brains and talent to come from a humble family of fishermen, to win scholarships to university, provide for family and become the amazing woman she is today. Proud of you pangarap ko."
Rich was first runner-up in the said competition. Bianca Manalo won the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title.
