Actress Kris Bernal put an end to speculations of a possible network transfer as she renewed her contract with the Kapuso network on Tuesday, March 7.

"Sinunod ko lang ang puso ko. It was one year na talagang under negotiation 'yung contract ko. Kung magtagal pa 'to, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na kung ano talaga ang gusto ng puso ko, kung saan ako comfortable, where I feel complete, where I am satisfied, contented, [doon ako]. So I realized it's still with GMA," she shared after the contract signing.

She added,"Super happy ako. I'm very grateful na nandito pa rin ako. At siyempre binigyan ulit ako ng chance."

Prior to her signing, Kris has been taping for the upcoming Afternoon Prime series Impostora, where she plays two roles, Nimfa and Rosette.

"Lahat talaga dumadating sa akin, at ang ganda-ganda din ng project na binigay sa akin, ang Impostora. Dito talaga ako mahahasa, dito talaga ako maggo-grow."

GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable was also happy with Kris' decision to stay with her home network.

"Kris started out with our network, and we're happy all the time kapag ang ating mga naumpisahang artista who grew with us at dinevelop natin ay patuloy na nananatili dito sa network. Ito ang kanilang tahanan and we're happy that they continue to be with us."

Aside from Ms. Rasonable, Kris also signed her contract with GMA Artist Center AVP for Imaging and Branding Simoun Ferrer. Also present at the event were GMA Films President Annette Gozon and GMA Artist Center Talent Management Manager Tracy Garcia.
