READ: Manilyn Reynes vows to work harder as she inks an exclusive contract with GMA-7
Manilyn Reyes is staying put where her heart is, as she signs an exclusive contract with GMA-7 today, May 18.

The versatile actress/singer has been part of several successful Kapuso shows throughout the years like Pepito Manaloto, Once Upon A Kiss, and Destiny Rose. She is currently part of the high-rating kilig serye of Barbie Forteza, Meant To Be.
The contract signing was held late this afternoon at the 17th Floor Executive Lounge of the GMA Network Center, which was attended by GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable and Program Manager Bang Arespacochaga.
Manilyn revealed in an interview after, her reason why she chose to stay as a Kapuso.
She explained, “Kasi po ang Kapuso talagang may puso ika nga. Hindi lamang sa kung ano pa mang tinitingnan ng tao hindi ba, hindi sa pagpapanood lang nila nakikita… Kaya nga po, sabi ko nga, eto nabigyan po ako ng pagkakataon ulit na maging Kapuso hindi ba, talagang sabi ko magta-trabaho po ako ng buong pagmamahal at buong puso kasi certified Kapuso ako.”
Moreover, Manilyn is also looking forward to the different projects that she will be doing with the Kapuso channel.
“I’m very excited at gusto ko rin po malaman kung ano po ang mga gagawin ko para dun sa three-years na naka-kontrata ako of course sa ating Kapuso Network, [I'm] so excited!”
Meant To Be
The talented actress also revealed in her interview that her husband Aljon Jimenez is a fan of her character, Amelia Bendiola.
According to Manilyn, it was nice to see that her hubby would be ‘kilig’ when watching the show that consistently tops the primetime block, since they started last January.
“Alam ninyo po nakakatuwa po ang asawa ko, kasi naturingan ganitong age na kami. Pero nagtweet siya at ang tweet niya ‘yung kinikilig siya, kinikilig talaga siya promise.”
“Sabi niya, ‘Hon hindi ba parang ‘yung scene na ‘yun naalala mo ‘yung tayo.’ Oh di ba, so nakakarelate ‘yung asawa ko. Pagnaka-relate siya nakaka-relate ang ibang guys at siyempre lahat-lahat na yan.”
