Sunshine Dizon on staying with GMA: 'This has always been my home'

Ika-6 Na Utos lead star Sunshine Dizon remains a loyal Kapuso as she inked another contract with GMA Network on Thursday, July 27. Present during the contract signing were GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA SVP for Entertainment TV Lilybeth Rasonable, and Perry Lansigan, Sunshine's manager.

The actress, who has been with the Kapuso network since her teenage years, is glad to still be part of the GMA family.

"This has always been my home, and it gives me great pleasure and security that I will be spending years with my family pa rin. Thank you very much to Mr. Gozon and everyone here in GMA for the trust that they have continued to give me."

She added, "Masasabi ko naman na ever since I started in GMA, talaga namang iningatan talaga lahat ng projects na binigay sa akin and it really honed me as an actress. I always look forward to the stories that they give me kasi it always challenges me. There is always that mutual respect with things that I can do and I cannot do, and they have always taken good care of me talaga."

Atty. Gozon is also proud of Sunshine's achievements, especially with the success of her Afternoon Prime series.

"Si Sunshine is homegrown. Nakita mo naman kung paano tayo magpalaki. Hindi lang tumatangkad, gumagaling na artista pa. Siyempre tuwang-tuwa tayo at hindi ko naman puwedeng isipin na hindi dito si Sunshine sa GMA."
