The announcement of former Eat Bulaga host Julia Clarete finally tying the knot with her longtime Irish boyfriend Gareth McGeown surprised everyone last week since Julia kept it a secret from the public.

Last 2016, the noontime host made a huge decision to leave her showbiz career behind and migrate to Malaysia.

Julia, in a Facebook post, thanked her fans for their understanding why she didn’t reveal her wedding plans with Gareth.

“Salamat po. Maraming salamat po. Kahit malihim ako, mahal niyo pa rin ako, mga Kabarangay JC.”

She also shared her thoughts on Instagram about the meaning of ‘forever.’
