Kapuso primetime stars Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe were overwhelmed with the box-office success of their new movie, The Significant Other.

In their social media posts, the two expressed their heartfelt appreciation and encourage those who haven’t seen their film to watch it.

The movie was directed by highly-acclaimed director Joel Lamangan.

“Thank you sa lahat ng mga sumuporta sa unang araw ng #thesignificantother sana po ay nagustuhan nyo at nadala kayo sa bawat kumpas ng metro ng napakagandang kwentong ito sa mga hindi pa po nagkakaroon ng chance na manood, showing pa din po kami sa 170 cinemas nationwide," Tom said.

Meanwhile, actor/model Guji Lorenzana congratulated Tom for the success of his movie project.

Lovi and Tom last worked on the Kapuso primetime series Someone To Watch Over Me in 2016.
