LOOK: Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio's 'Almost a Love Story' movie poster is out!

Barbie Forteza teased her followers with a poster of her newest movie Almost a Love Story. The Kapuso leading lady is paired with Derrick Monasterio in the Louie Ignacio film which was shot in Italy and is set to be shown on April 11.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, DerBie shared tidbits of their upcoming romantic-comedy film.

“Tungkol siya sa long distance relationship between childhood friends. Siyempre, [ito rin ay] kuwento ng [isang] OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker), ‘yung malayo ‘yung ina sa anak na wala namang samaan ng loob. Very light and maganda pa rin ang relasyon ng mag-ina kahit malayo sila sa isa’t isa. Walang poot [at] walang sama ng loob,” bahagi ng aktres.

On and off camera, Barbie and Derrick share a good chemistry since they have known each other for a long time now. The two were first paired off on Reel Love: Tween Hearts which ran from 2010 to 2012.

The actor is glad that he was able to catch up, and roam in another country with his leading lady. He said, “[This is] a show na ‘di lang siya work, travel na rin. Hindi lang pampamilya, pang-sports pa! Hindi siya stressful i-shoot eh kasi sa isang araw, parang ang ginagawa lang namin is five scenes [kasi] mabilis gumabi. Mga 4 p.m., tapos na kami. After noon, gala na kami kaya masaya.”
