After six years of being married, actress Sunshine Dizon and her husband Timothy Tan have called it quits, allegedly due to a third party. Let's take a look at their happier times as a couple and how their marriage ended.
In a Startalk interview with Ricky Lo in May 2010, Sunshine and Tim revealed that they met in Pampanga through common friends in November 2009.
After just four months of being together, they became husband and wife through a civil wedding on March 20, 2010.
They were blessed with two children, Anton and Doreen.
Tim surprised Sunshine on her birthday last year. She captioned this photo with "Jesus thank you for another year! Im am officially 32. I have a wonderful loving husband and two beautiful kids. And Bonus of real friends. What can I say? life is really good. Life thank you for all the learnings and will definitely continue to pay it forward. To all the fans who [have] kept me here, who continue to appreciate my work, thank you. To all my loving friends (you know who you are), to my angels at work (you know who you are), and most especially my family, thank you for everything. Thank you Mahal ko and my babies for the peace and security your love brings. I can truly say that I am a better me all because of you. Great to be alive woohoow!!!"
John Timothy Ong Tan, who hails from Guagua, Pampanga, is a pilot who graduated cum laude from AirLink International Aviation College.
Many have observed that Tim looks a lot like Pambansang Bae Alden Richards. According to Sunshine, their similarities go beyond their looks. "Proud din ako kasi anak anakan ko si Alden Richards and dati pa I would tell him may similarity talaga sila ni Timothy lalo na pag dating sa kabaitan nila sa mga tao at pagiging malabing."
Tim celebrated his birthday last December 2, and his wife had a touching message for him. She wrote, "Happy birthday to my best friend, my partner, and my mahal. Thank you Dad for your love and and for taking good care of our children. I believe in you, I believe in us and no storm can come between us. I love you Dad."
Who would have thought that this will be their last Christmas together as a happily married couple?
The couple still looking very sweet during their trip to Boracay where they welcomed 2016.
They were also together during Doreen's skills demo activity in school.
Sunshine and Tim also celebrated Valentine's Day with their kids.
According to reports, the couple has been having marital problems since June last year, yet they remained loving and supportive parents.
They would even go out as a family despite of their issues.
Last March, Sunshine went on a solo trip to Japan. She captioned one of her posts with "Best trip ever. I learned a lot about myself. Kaya naman pala mag-solo flight minsan. I really enjoyed Japan."
Tim was present during their daughter's fifth birthday last April.
Barely two weeks prior to Sunshine's revelation about Tim's affair, they celebrated Anton's fourth birthday together.
On June 17, Sunshine started posting about the end of their marriage on her Instagram account. She even revealed the identity of Tim's supposedly other woman, who also happens to live in the same condominium as her.
On August 10, Sunshine, Tim, and his alleged mistress Clarisma Sison attended the preliminary investigation of the Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) complaint that the Kapuso actress filed against the two.
