Alessandra de Rossi thanks fans for supporting 'Through Night and Day' after Netflix premiere

Actress Alessandra de Rossi couldn't end her night by thanking fans for the support she and Kapuso actor Paolo Contis have received for their flick Through Night and Day, which premiered on Netflix on Thursday, July 9.

In the movie, Alessandra and Paolo play lovers Ben and Jen who go on a vacation in Iceland only to find out that they are different from each other.

On Twitter, fans raved about the romantic film saying how the film made them feel a roller coaster of emotions up to its conclusion.

One fan said, “Hindi ko inaasahan na mapapaiyak ako ng todo ng Through Night and Day. Huhu. Must-watch for everyone on Netflix lalo na 'yung in a relationship diyan. @msderossi @paolocontis.”

Another netizen posted his reaction after watching the film and wrote, “Huling iyak ko nito 'yung Kita Kita po. Grabe! 20/10.”

To which the actress replied, “Hahahahaha! 30/10 ka!”

Another wrote, “I've just watched your film with Paolo Contis and I never thought you will make me cry so bad. Nang-aano kayong dalawa, e! Napakagaling.

“'Yung tipong sobrang manhid ka ta's gusto mong makaramdam, ito 'yung film na dapat mong panoorin. Worth it. Thanks for this.”

By the end of the night, Alessandra expressed her gratitude to fans who continue to support her endeavors and the local film industry.

“Bago ako matulog, gusto ko magpasalamat sa lahat ng nanood ng Through Night and Day sa Netflix today.

“'Di ko po masagot lahat, kasi ang daming tweets. Mga 4,” she jested.

Produced by Viva Films and directed by Veronica Velasco, Through Night and Day first hit cinemas in 2018 and is now available on Netflix.

Paolo's other film, Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap, was also made available on the streaming site starting July 2.
