For GMA Films, Inc. and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, people should hope for more GMA Thanksgiving Gala event in the years to come after the successful event on July 30.
Speaking with GMANetwork.com, Atty. Annette was happy that she got to see the brightest and biggest stars of GMA Network under one room as they mingle and dance with each other.
"It was very successful because talagang sabik na sabik lahat na makita 'yung isa't isa kaya nakikita mo naman, lahat talaga masaya, nakikipag-usap, nagmi-mingle, umiikot," she said.
"It's a very successful event and I hope we have more of this to come. Asahan natin 'yan."
At the GMA Thanksgiving Gala, Ms. Annette received the Kapuso Symbol of Appreciation on behalf of her father, GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.
The Kapuso Symbol of Appreciation was a work of art by contemporary artist, Seb Chua.
Aside from a night full of glitz and glamour, the GMA Thanksgiving Gala also served as a fundraiser for the benefit of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
Aside from building a new school complex at Magallanes Elementary School in Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte, part of the proceeds will also go to affected communities in Abra because of the recent earthquake.
