'Kara Mia' actress Barbie Forteza reacts to being compared to Nora Aunor. Read here:

Kapuso journalist and filmmaker Cesar Apolinario commended Barbie Forteza's acting in the primetime series Kara Mia.

In a tweet, Cesar compared Barbie's acting to no other than the superstar Nora Aunor's acting.

“Nora Aunor in the making.. @dealwithBARBIE,” Cesar wrote, quote-tweeting entertainment writer Nitz Miralles's tweet.

The Kara Mia star replied to Cesar's praise, being humbled by the comparison.

“Naku poww! Ibang level naman po ang superstar! Hehehehe thank you po!” Barbie replied.

In Miralles's original tweet, the veteran entertainment writer praised Barbie's acting.

“Ang husay ni Barbie Forteza sa mata-mata acting,” she tweeted.

Barbie then thanked Miralles for her commendation replying, “Maraming salamat po!”

In her 10-year career in the show business, Barbie already got a Best Actress trophy from Fantasporto International Film Festival for her movie Laut.

She was also awarded as Best Supporting Actress in the 2014 Cinemalaya Awards for her film Mariquina.
