Richard Gutierrez on Lauren Young: "She's a very good actress"

GMA Films is getting ready to take you on the edge of your seats when Overtime, a Richard Gutierrez and Lauren Young starrer, premieres on theaters this coming July.

Richard will be playing the role of Dom, who uses Jodi to take revenge. Jodi will be played by Kapuso actress Lauren. Adding to the top-notched cast are Renz Valerio, Roadfill Sparks, and Roi Vinzon.

The story of Overtime revolves around Dom and Jodi. Jodi meets Dom through the internet and they decided to see each other personally. On their date, they hired a room and the next scene becomes shocking for Jodi. She wakes up with a bomb strapped around her stomach! Dom gives her a mission to accomplish in order for her to live.

GMANetwork.com asked Richard on how he feels working with Lauren in Overtime. He shared it’s his first time to work with his leading lady. He also revealed that he enjoyed the company of Lauren because of her humor. “She's always laughing, she's always cracking jokes. It's fun working with her,” says Richard.

He added, “At the same time, kapag hindi kami nasa harapan ng camera, she's also very fun to be with. No dull moment with her.”

On Lauren’s acting, Richard said he was amazed by her skills. “She's a very good actress. She’s very natural, and she's very professional.”

Watch out for Richard Gutierrez and Lauren Young as they play the characters of Dom and Jodi in Overtime, the newest offering of GMA Films, this coming July on theaters nationwide.
