READ: Direk Mike Tuviera commends Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as better actors after wrapping up 'Imagine You & Me'

A lot is expected from Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as they topbill one of the most anticipated movies in the country today, Imagine You & Me, and Direk Mike Tuviera claims that the phenomenal love team will not disappoint their fans and the viewers.
 
Maine narrated how she took her acting a notch higher as she portrayed more heavy scenes in the movie, something far from the usual comic acts she delivers in Eat Bulaga. Alden, on the other hand, found some difficulty in breathing life into his character but he proved effective in the end.
 
Direk Mike commended the two stars, saying, “Sabi ko, ‘Ang irony sa inyong dalawa, after everything we’ve gone through in shooting this movie – we’ve shot through signal number three weather, the hottest [weather], we’ve shot through weather when it was snowing in Italy. After all of this, I want to work with them more now at the end, noong natapos na because they ended the movie [as] much better actors than when they started.”
 
Following the success of their tandem via the longest-running noontime show, the unwavering support and demand from fans, Alden and Maine got their biggest break in the silver screen as the lead stars of Imagine You & Me. The movie will be shown in cinemas starting July 13.
