Nag-alok ng P10 milyong pabuya si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para ma-"neutralized" ang itinuturong lider ng bandidong grupong Abu Sayyaf at umano'y “Emir” ng terrorist group na ISIS sa Pilipinas na si Isnilon Hapilon.
Ayon kay Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief General Eduardo Año nitong Lunes, nag-alok din si Duterte ng tig-P5 milyon para naman sa ikadarakip ng magkapatid na Maute na sina Abdullah at Omar.
“The President is offering P10 million reward money for the neutralization of Isnilon Hapilon who is believed to be leading the terrorist Maute-ISIS group in attacking Marawi City,” saad sa pahayag ng opisyal.
Ang naturang pabuya ni Duterte ay hiwalay pa umano sa $5 milyon na alok ng pamahalaan ng Amerika para madakip si Hapilon.
Dati nang may alok na pabuya ang pamahalaan ng Pilipinas para sa ikadarakip ni Hapilon na nagkakahalaga ng P7.4 milyon.
May outstanding warrant of arrest si hapilon sa mga kasong kidnapping with ransom at serious illegal detention.
“The Armed Forces of the Philippines welcomes the pronouncement of President Duterte. We hope that this will bear significant accomplishments leading to the eventual arrest and neutralization of Isnilon Hapilon and the Maute Brothers,” ani Año.
Ayon naman kay AFP Public Affairs chief Col. Edgard Arevalo, ang naturang alok na pabuya ay patunay na desidido ang pamahalaan na tapusin ang mga terorista at ang kaguluhan sa Marawi City.
“We are positive that through our President’s latest pronouncement, we will see the same support and assistance that our people and the local government have given us in our previous accomplishments in the Bohol incident,” pahayag ni Arevalo.
Nasa ika-14 na araw na ngayon ang labanan sa Marawi City dahil sa pagsalakay ng Maute group at iba pa umanong armadong grupo. — FRJ, GMA News
