GMA Network took home two Gold Awards in the Best Commercial Team and Best Content Team categories at the Spark Awards for Media Excellence 2016. The awarding ceremony was held in Singapore last August 18.

Now on its third year, the Spark Awards is the premier award-giving body in Southeast Asia which recognizes outstanding media solutions, products and services. This year, the Awards opened its doors not just to media owners, but also to digital publishers and ad technology companies in the region.

GMA won Gold in the Best Commercial Team category, having been cited as an exemplary commercial team from a media owner who has successfully shown creativity and innovation, while maintaining excellent relationships and a professional outlook.

The Network also earned Gold in the Best Content Team category, which lauds a content team for their ability to devise solutions and create effective content, while also establishing a strong rapport with clients and agencies.

Adding to GMA’s notable achievements, the Network also received two Bronze Awards in the Best Media Solution – Digital category for GMA and Palmolive’s ‘Ito ang Hagod Ko’ promo and Best Media Solution – Integrated Media category for the Del Monte ‘I Love Spaghetti’ campaign.

In the sphere of marketing recognitions, GMA remains the most awarded Philippine TV network both locally and abroad. A consistent winner at the annual Spark Awards, GMA won a Platinum Award for being Best in Show in 2015.
