GMA Network received the highest recognition among the most trusted brands in the Philippines during the 2017 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards held last March 7 in Pasig City.
The Kapuso Network was bestowed the Platinum Award in the TV Network category, further validating its commitment to enriching the lives of Filipinos with quality entertainment and responsible delivery of news and information.

GMA personalities were also recognized for their continued excellence in their respective platforms. For the seventh consecutive year, GMA News pillar Jessica Soho has been awarded as the Most Trusted News Presenter. “Kapag naririnig ko yung salitang trust, ‘yung tiwala, napakalaking bagay nun kasi it’s something that you earn. Hindi mo ‘yan hinihingi, kailangang ibigay sa’yo yan,” said Soho. “Maraming maraming salamat muli sa Reader’s Digest at sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin,” she added.
GMA Consultant for Radio Operations and RGMA President Mike Enriquez was the Most Trusted Radio Presenter for the second consecutive year. Enriquez banners Saksi sa Dobol B on DZBB, GMA’s flagship AM station.
Fellow GMA News pillar Mike Enriquez, who is also regarded as one of the most credible radio personalities in the country today, received anew the Most Trusted Radio Presenter award for his news programs in DZBB, the flagship AM radio station of RGMA. “Kapag ikaw ay pinagkatiwalaan ng mga nagtitiwala sa isa sa mga pinaka-pinagkakatiwalaang organisasyon tulad ng Reader’s Digest, mas lalong nabubuo ang loob mo sa propesyon mo,” said Enriquez.
Most Trusted Entertainment / Variety Presenter Ryan Agoncillo is one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Kapuso TV host Ryan Agoncillo, in turn, was recognized as the Most Trusted Entertainment/Variety Presenter. “To everyone responsible for naming me the Most Trusted Entertainment Presenter, thank you very much for the trust. It’s something else to be recognized for your efforts and to be true to your work and to yourself,” said the Eat Bulaga host.
The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey is conducted among approximately 8,000 consumers across key markets in Asia and has been celebrated in the industry for “recognizing the brands and services Filipinos trust, above all others.”
