GMA Network Employees Join COMELEC Special Voter Registration Drive

In support of the Commission on Elections’ (COMELEC) "Special Register Anywhere Program" (SRAP), GMA Network held a special voter registration for its employees, subsidiaries, staff, and family members on Wednesday (August 7) at the GMA Network Center in Quezon City.

Led by GMA Integrated News and GMA Corporate Affairs and Communications, the special voter registration activity was in preparation for the upcoming Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan Elections. COMELEC Chairman George Garcia was also in attendance.

The COMELEC’s SRAP initiative aims to encourage new voters to register by ensuring an easier, more convenient process by setting up satellite registration activities in various schools, designated malls, churches, and offices, such as GMA Network.  The program is also for disenfranchised voters who wish to re-activate their voter registration status. Voters who wish to update or correct their registration data may also do so through the SRAP program.
