Having a sensitive skin is every girl's nightmare.

Waking up with a bump on your face after trying a new product is a big hassle, and searching for the right skincare regimen appears to be like a never-ending process.

The same goes with showbiz newcomer Angel Guardian.

Angel Guardian: An artist by heart

Before she achieved a clear skin, the Fil-Israeli actress has been struggling to cover her breakouts.

At one point, she found herself crying because of her bad skin in time for a VTR, and worse, it caused her to have a low self-esteem.

In pursuit of modeling and acting careers, Angel tried several products until she finally found her 'Holy Grail' to treat her dull, sensitive skin.

Her secret is an essential oil distilled from the leaves of the native Australian plant Melaleuca alternifolia called tea tree oil.

"Nakaka-dry siya and oily ako, so better siya for oily skin.

“Kasi, parang matte 'yung finish niya, unlike other products, 'yun lang 'yung naging sobrang effective sa 'kin," the 20-year-old actress shared in a sit-down interview with GMANetwork.com recently.

According to medicalnewstoday.com, tea tree oil possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties, making it a natural remedy for skin conditions like acne.

No wonder, Hollywood A-listers Khloe Kardashian, Katy Perry, supermodels Winnie Harlow, Candice Swanepoel, and even the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle have included this regimen in their beauty routine.

Meanwhile, Angel pointed out that it's okay to experiment when it comes to skincare until you get the right product that suits your skin type.

"Dapat every year ka nagpapalit ng product kasi, siyempre, nagbi-build din ng immunity 'yung skin."

On top of this, she also emphasized that proper hydration is the beginning of acquiring a blemish-free skin.

"Kailangan malakas ka talaga mag-water. Lagi din akong nag-a-ice sa mukha every morning and every night tapos face mask every week," she said.

"Serums are good also, then tone and moisturize." Angel added.
