Is brow lamination the next beauty trend?

By Felix Ilaya

If you follow a lot of beauty trends online, there's a good chance you've heard or seen of the term "Brow Lamination."

With a name like that, the procedure sounds kind of intimidating but what is brow lamination anyway and is it on its way to become the next biggest beauty trend?

Beauty content creator Tina Yong, famous for her YouTube series “Tina Tries It,” gave brow lamination a go in her latest video.

Based on her research, Tina found out that the products used in brow lamination are the same ones used in lash perms.

The main goal of having your brows “laminated” is to have them looking brushed-up and feathery semi-permanently. Sort of like having supermodel brows on the go.

Some clients who get their brows laminated also opt to have them tinted to fill in any bald spots and make them look fuller.

Unfortunately for Tina, since brow lamination procedures are quite new, she wasn't able to find a salon near her that offered it.

However, since she has her own lash perming kit at home, she figured that it will work just as well on her brows as it did on her lashes. The two procedures are basically the same, after all.

Watch Tina Yong try to do a brow lamination on herself in the video below:

After “laminating” her own brows, Tina said that it's even easier than trying to perm her own lashes. Still, she advised getting a brow lamination done at salons to get better and professional results.
