Heart Evangelista is one of the Filipina celebrities who enjoys wearing a powerful red lipstick.
The Kapuso actress shared her red lip icons during the L'Oréal EmpoweReds collection launch on January 27. According to Heart, these women embody confidence and power.
"I love Marilyn Monroe and also Grace Kelly. She didn't wear it often, but whenever she did it was so beautiful on her. And, my mom."
Heart noted how she started admiring her mom every time she sees her applying a red lipstick shade.
"She was the first person that I saw who would wear red lipstick."
The Queen of Creative Collaborations also recalled that there was a time when she was asked to stop wearing lipstick.
"I was young, I was 18 or 19. At that time parang it wasn't so accepted that someone as young as that would wear red lips. So parang ipinagbawal pa siya."
However, Heart believes that she feels confident with red lipstick.
"Masyado raw matapang at masyadong mature ganyan, but I loved it. I loved it so much so I thought it was powerful."
