KC Concepcion shares skincare and makeup routines for video calls

Celebrity host and jewelry designer KC Concepcion recognizes that video calls have now become part of our lives. It's a reality in the "new normal."

Because of this, she shared a quick makeup routine on her YouTube channel that is perfect for virtual meetings, online classes, and video calls.

First, KC made sure she had cleans hands and then washed her face gently.

"Kailangan talaga light na light lang. Huwag n'yo masyadong pupuwersahan kasi mukha natin 'yan eh. That's the very first thing na nakikita ng mga tao. Just make sure na hindi ka lang maganda, malinis at mabango ka rin," she says.

After washing her face, she proceeded to brush her teeth and put on serum and moisturizer.

Before she starts to do her makeup, she says that it is important to have a makeup table.

"Ang pinaka importante na step sa lahat bago mag-makeup, kailangan may makeup table ka. I never had a makeup table growing up kasi bara bara talaga ko. Tsaka nagte-taping ako and nag-start na 'kong mag-telesyere at pelikula. I would normally do my makeup sa car," she recalls.

For KC, it is something that is worth investing in as she works in an industry that requires her to constantly glam up.

"Papunta ng meetings, sa kotse lang talaga ko nagme-makeup. Mayroon akong makeup mirror doon sa may kotse. Doon talaga ko nagme-makeup. But noong natutuo na kong mag-take ng time in between projects, natuto na rin akong mag-set up ng makeup corner or makeup table and make up chair sa aking room," she shares.

Aside from this, KC also shared her little quirk before doing her makeup.

"So ang very very first step 'pag nandoon na ko sa makeup table ko, bukod sa magandang mirror at mga ilaw, nagsisindi talaga ko ng candle. Super favorite ko talaga mag-makeup na mabango 'yung naaamoy ko. I'm very inspired by good scents and anything that smells good," she says.

Lighting a scented candle is like a a ritual for her and has actually become a part of her routine.

"Hindi talaga ko maka-start mag makeup at maka-start mag-prepare at magpaganda 'pag wala akong kandila na scented," she explains.

In a previous vlog, KC showed herself getting "unready" as she winds down for the day.

She bravely showed her bare face as she showed the process of removing her makeup.

KC is currently spending the quarantine at a holistic resort and farm in Batangas.
