Juancho Trivino is happy to be a father of two at 30
Despite his young age and knowing that having two kids is a big responsibility, Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino said that he's happy to be a father of two at 30, saying how it feels great for him.
In his recent interview on the Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, Juancho mentioned that having kids at 30 was always his and his wife, Joyce Pring's plan from the start.
“Just thinking about it, like that nowadays ah sa climate ng mga gustong mag-anak at mga nag-aasawa ngayon, that's relatively early. Kaya parang amazing para sa akin, kasi iyon 'yung gusto namin,” he said.
He then mentioned one of the reasons why he wanted kids at a young age, and that is actually based on what he experienced with his own dad.
“Isa sa mga pinag-uusapan namin ni Joyce just recently yung age gap namin ni Liam, my first child is the same as 'yung age gap namin ng dad ko,” he said.
He added, “How does that look like, lahat ng mga na-experience ko growing up, 'yung malakas pa ako, malakas pa siya (his dad), nakakalaro ko pa siya ng basketball, you know I can do all these things with him. Ngayon he is still relatively young kahit na may anak na ako.”
Juancho then mentioned about what he experienced with his dad before is a “glimpse into the future” of him and Liam.
“Masaya ako that we did this the right way. And na ganun lang kaliit I guess siguro ngayon medyo early siya, pero sa gusto namin in the future it's something that we're very happy about,” he said.
Juancho celebrated his 30th birthday on April 13 and in an Instagram post, he mentioned how he's not “gonna miss much” from the past decade, except for “the energy of the early years.”
“I am as fulfilled as [I]'ve ever been in my life and just truly excited for the years to come,” he said.
Meanwhile, he and Joyce welcomed their baby girl on Sunday, April 23, with the actor needing a nap and meds “after his exhausting experience of *watching* [the] birth,” according to Joyce.
