Glaiza De Castro, 'scared' of getting pregnant?

By Aaron Brennt Eusebio

After her wedding in the Philippines with David Reiney, the next topic that Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro would almost always get asked about is her plan on having a baby.

During the virtual media conference of Glaiza's newest series The Seed of Love, GMANetwork.com asked the 35-year-old actress what she wanted the public to learn from their GMA Afternoon Prime show that tells the story of a couple who got pregnant with the help of in vitro fertilization.

She honestly answered, "Majority ng tina-tackle dito, 'yung in vitro fertilization.

In an earlier question, Glaiza revealed that she and David already talked about having children but they're still waiting to be ready to be parents.

"So medyo pinaghahandaan pa po namin talaga, parang 'pag dating ng araw na 'yun, or pagdating ng time na gusto na talaga namin mag-baby, settled na kami, kasi ngayon, madami pang kailangan ayusin, like we just started a business."

Earlier this year, Glaiza and David opened a bed and breakfast and a coffee shop in Baler, Aurora.

She continued, "Nung time na ginagawa namin 'yung [The Seed of Love], busy rin kami pareho. So, ayun, pinag-uusapan na namin, yes.

In The Seed of Love, Glaiza portrays Eileen, the wife of Bobby (Mike Tan) who got pregnant via in vitro fertilization. In what would have been a happy day for the couple, Bobby's ex-girlfriend, Alexa (Valerie Concepcion) enters the picture and insists that he got her pregnant after a recent one-night stand.

Watch the world premiere of The Seed of Love on Monday, May 8, after AraBella on GMA Afternoon Prime.
